Itinerary

Day 1CASABLANCA

The excitement of a custom tour begins the moment you begin planning your trip even before you
arrive at the Casablanca airport. It’ll only be real once you step out of the airport and find your
English driving instructor, the person you’ll soon be a friend looking at you.

Drivers are part of the reason that is what makes Experience It Tours different…they are generally regarded as one of the
most enjoyable aspects of the trip because they allow you to see what is truly Morocco.

Imagine getting out of the airport and you see palm trees as well as Moroccan flags…

Your driver will drive them to the hotels. Once you are at ease, if the time allows your driver will
drive the opportunity to visit Hassan II, one of the largest mosques in the world. It is brimming with
historical and religious importance, the mosque will impress you with its dimensions and stunning
design.

You’ll get to experience the meticulously designed interior on your tour. The mosque is situated right
at the sea, and has glass flooring in a particular section, so that people who visit and worshipers can
view the splendor that is it from the Atlantic below.

Enjoy the ocean’s scent before you leave to snap a photo of the magnificent minaret

Meals: Dinner

Day 2RABAT/FES

Imagine you wake up in Morocco in the knowledge that you’ll have the trip you’ve planned for
several weeks…

Today, you’ll be driving to Fes with a stop on the way to visit the city on the coast of Rabat. Have a
delicious Moroccan breakfast before heading out on the highway with your chauffeur.

Rabat is fascinating because it’s the capital city of Morocco and also the home of the king of Morocco, King
Mohammed VI. It is a great place to eat lunch in Rabat before heading to the Fes, the city that was
once Fes.

Car rides are an ideal opportunity to unwind and meet your driver, and ask him what he
enjoys the most in Morocco or ask him for his thoughts on the things you should never be missing
out on when in Morocco’s countryside.

The next city to go to is Fes. Fes is one of my favorite cities because it’s awash with captivating
people, interesting shopping and lively streets that are fun to walk through. Make sure to taste the
orange juice that is sold at an unpaved road. There are no restrictions. This is a trip you will
remember forever!

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3FES

The whole day is devoted to exploring the walled city, or medina of Fes! You’ll want to record every
detail of these busy streets in your mind so you can share with your loved ones about this trip that
will last a lifetime.

Imagine seeing donkeys transporting Coca Cola into the old city, a shop stocked with heaps of
colorful spices, a storehouse piled over with carpets handwoven that are every hue and design while
inhaling the smell of freshly baked bread…

It’s possible to touch the soft blue and white pottery and walk by market stalls selling fresh fruits.
The city will be called to pray and remind the city to perform their religious obligations. It’s a chance
to visit the authentic Fes. The guide you choose will be pleased to give you information and
explanations of the places you’ll make…satisfying your thirst for information!

It’s likely that you won’t be hungry (because the best method of travel is to taste every delicious snack
on the road) However, after making your way through the medina, you’ll be able to eat lunch in one
of the top eateries in the area.

There are so many kinds of salads that you won’t be able to be able to adequately describe them as you’ll need to leave some space for the main meal, which is a hot tagine
or couscous that has been steamed.

There are a lot of khobz that are fresh, because it’s that delicious. Imagine being so full, you’re almost unable to think about dessert until you realize that the fruit is fresh and seasonal and delicious Moroccan cookies and sweet mint tea.

The other places you’ll visit include the tanning salons (the smell is definitely an experience to be
remembered) and The King’s Palace, and the potters. End your day with a return to your hotel to
enjoy a relaxing evening.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 4VOLUBILIS /MEKNES /FES

It is believed that the Roman ruins of Volubilis are more than 2000 years old and very well preserved
which means you just need to have a few ideas to have an idea of what it was like to have lived during
this period of time in the Roman Empire. The architecture and the expertise from your guides will
enthrall you, making this an experience worth taking.

You will get a glimpse of Fes, which is considered to be one of the most sacred cities located in
Morocco. The town of green and white has the remains of Mulay Idris who was one of the founding
fathers of Fes.

After lunch Your guide will then guide you on a tour bus of Meknes which is an ancient city of the
imperial era and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, return to either of your hotels. the remainder
of the evening.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 5MERZOUGA

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll start your climb through to the Middle Atlas Mountains. The majority
time will be spent navigating through beautiful mountains, forests as well as jagged rock faces as well
as Berber communities as you traverse over the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend into the
Sahara Desert. You’ll be thankful to be able to have your driver telling you more details about the
scenery that you’ll be passing through. You’ll hear the passion he has about his homeland. He’ll also
assist you in making the stops you’ll need to make, whether that’s telling you his favorite spot along
the way for lunch or stopping for your photo with Atlas Mountains. Atlas Mountains.

The air becomes dry as you head toward the Sahara.

Imagine the buildings disappearing into dirt pink…in the distance you will see the dunes rolling…

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6SAHARA

I’m sure you’ll be looking forward to the four-wheel drive that you’ll take today across the barren
desert to the imposing Sahara dunes of sand. You’ve probably seen images of the Sahara but the
reality is awe-inspiring. Dunes are everywhere in every direction that stretch all the way you see,
dotted with gentle ripples and sharp shadows. You can feel the soft sand under your feet in the crisp
morning air, while gazing at the ocean with golden-brown waters. As the evening draws near it’s time
to select the camel ride towards the Berber tents which offer an option to stay for the night.

Imagine sleeping under the most stars you’ve ever witnessed in your entire life…

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 7TODRA GORGES

It is possible to wake up and walk up a dunes to view the sunrise in its full desert glory. Imagine
drinking citrus juice while eating Moroccan bread in the open, before you take the camel back to
return. The camel will be switched to a 4×4 before heading through Erfoud. From Erfoud it’s time to
head in the shadow of The High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. You’ll have the
chance to stroll through the massive (600 feet tall) Todra Gorges. The huge walls of gray and pink
rock will surround you on each side. The stunning valleys of the river offer a breathtaking excursion
to the southeast region of Morocco.

Here’s a chance to explore the rural areas of Morocco after having lived in Morocco’s vibrant cities. The night will be spent in Ouarzazate.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 8MARRAKECH

After breakfast, you’ll head off for Marrakech by Ouarzazate. The city is one of the gems of Morocco,
The Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. The complex of buildings is a perfect example of the southern Moroccan
architecture and has lots of history with breathtaking landscapes. In the typical Moroccan way, the
most valuable treasures have to be sought out and found… typically far from the tourist trail.

After lunch, you’ll travel over the mountains to Marrakech.

When you arrive, you’ll be in Marrakech and discover the city which is combining its past with
progress toward modern life. Marrakech alone is an amazing reason to go to Morocco! It is
consistently ranked in the TripAdvisor’s Travelers Choice Best Destinations, and was ranked number
1 in the year 2015.

It is Jma El Fna, the central square in Marrakech is a part of the city you are able to explore. The
people you meet there will be thrilled to hear about the snake you’ll find there and the raucous music
that emanates from the square late at night, and the tasty dried fruit you’ll find on the stands.

Imagine tasting roasted peanuts, and imagining the explosions of energy surrounding you from the crowd who came out to take part in Marrakech’s nightlife…

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 9MARRAKECH

When you depart your road to embark on your tour guide of this southerly pearl of Morocco and
you’ll soon return to the hustle in Moroccan urban life. The city is brimming with tourist attractions,
so it’ll truly be up to you to choose what you would like to explore.

One of the most amazing places to visit can be found at the Bahia Palace. Enter the courtyard with its
tiled walls and feel like you’ve been taken back in time to 19th-century France. Relax in the
tranquility of the gardens surrounding it within the city.

A must-see destination are the Saadian tombs, where aristocratic families from the Saadian Dynasty
are interred. You’ll be amazed when you look into the exquisitely designed rooms that could be
buried for many years…especially given that they’re one of the most famous places to visit in
Marrakech.

Imagine yourself enjoying a cup of mint tea while you enjoy the day-to-day life of this beautiful
town…

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 10CASABLANCA

It’s difficult to believe that you’ve seen all that in only 10 days. It’s time to return to Casablanca in
Morocco, the place you began your journey at the beginning. Explore the city a bit! Find some
souvenirs, if you’ve not collected enough. You may need to weigh the suitcase again since it’s filled
with tiny ceramic pieces, fresh Moroccan scarves and tasty spices to recreate all the meals you’ll soon
be not able to recreate.

Enjoy every second of your final morning…

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 11DEPART

Then you will be transported to the airport in time for your departure. You will say goodbye to your
driver as well as the country that definitely left a mark on you.

In Morocco you will always be welcome to return to your new home.
